My sister recently moved back with the family (mum, dad and me). Long story short - we were never close (actually, our whole family has always been awkward), she graduated, moved overseas to work, had a baby, things with her partner didn’t work out, she came back. But all in all, it’s actually been for the better since she had the baby. It’s like she’s a completely different person, someone who actually likes us.
I’m still not close to her (or to my parents), but I can see that their relationship with each other has become so much better now and it makes me happy to see that they are happier now.
That went a bit off tracked for a moment. More about that another time.
Back to my sister’s birthday though: it’s not actually today, but since it was Sunday yesterday, I thought I’d give her her presents as it’s less rushed.
Bought a coffee capsule machine (I wanted to try it out as well :P), and baked some orange cupcakes. Hopefully she likes them! Happy birthday!
